Jeff Kaye (School Safety Operations) will be presenting an overview and review the essentials of all EOPs.  As you know, Jeff drafted and assisted Districts with implementing their plans. We think this is a great opportunity to review the essentials and answer any questions you may have.

Overview of Training:  Training in the use of the EOP’s and accompanying Functional Annexes is critical in order to ensure effectiveness at the district and school site level.

• EOP content and the importance of standardization.
• SDDC process of approving the District Master EOP.
• What information is needed from the district in order to get site specific plans completed.
• Practical use of the EOP and five Functional Annexes before, during, and after an incident.
• Creation of checklists for staff roles in emergency response.
• EOP submission guidelines to the state NDEM.
