Managing employee performance is an ongoing responsibility, but with the right tools, it doesn’t need to be the most difficult management task. Managers/Supervisors who set performance expectations from the start, and monitor and coach performance regularly, will find evaluating employees increases efficiency and effectiveness. In this course, participants will set SMART goals, review methods to monitor performance, recognize the principles of coaching and feedback, and write effective performance evaluations. Participants will:
• Implement the performance management cycle.
• Utilize SMART goals, Let’s T.A.L.K., and the documentation process.
• Differentiate performance evaluation ratings.
• Use the performance management process to write an evaluation.
