The 2023 HR Leadership Conference takes place at the Atlantis Casino Resort Spa in Reno, NV. The main conference sessions take place Thursday, October 19, and Friday, October 20. Each day starts at 8:00 AM and ends at approximately 4:30 PM (the 2nd day usually ends a little earlier).
There is also an afternoon preconference on Wednesday, October 18 from 1:00 - 4:00 PM. See the daily agenda page for session details.
POOL/PACT member employees who work in Human Resources and other organizational leaders who are involved in creating and managing employment practices (e.g. City or County Managers, Superintendents, Department leaders)

The conference is FREE to all POOL/PACT members.
Yes, for each full day of the conference (Oct. 19 & 20) we will provide a light continential breakfast (typically beverages and pastries), and a plated lunch.
*If you have special dietary needs, please inform POOL/PACT staff at least one week prior to the event.
On Thursday, October 19, we will also host a late afternoon reception which will include cocktails and snacks from 4:30 - 6:00 PM.
No meals will be served at the preconference sessions on the afternoon of Oct. 18.

We also host round table sessions in which members can discuss common issues and work together to share ideas and solutions.
Yes, this event is eligible for HR recertification credits with SHRM and HRCI. The event codes will be emailed out to participants after the event. Please see our educational credits page for details.
The general conference schedule each day begins at 8:00 AM and ends about 4:30 PM. There will be short breaks in the morning and afternoon, and a longer mid-day break for lunch. Check our Agenda page for a detailed schedule and session details.
