Since graduating from Penn State in 1998, Scott has worked for 25 years as a paralegal, litigation support analyst, law clerk and attorney.  After obtaining his J.D. from Gonzaga University in 2007, Scott gained broad experience working as an associate for both large international law firms and litigation boutiques.  His 16 years of legal practice have always included elements of employment law.  In 2019, Scott transitioned from private practice to public service.  He joined the Nevada Office of the Attorney General where he now currently works as a Senior Deputy Attorney General in the Personnel Division.  As a Senior Deputy, Scott works exclusively in employment law and handles all aspects of employment issues for several executive departments.  This work includes daily general counsel advice on employment issues and handling complex employment litigation brought by current and former state employees.
