Charity Felts is a second generation Nevadan, raised in Winnemucca. Currently, Ms. Felts serves as the Assistant General Counsel at the University of Nevada, Reno. In 1998, Ms. Felts graduated from the University of Nevada, Reno, receiving a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management with an emphasis in Human Resources Management. She worked in the human resources department at International Game Technology (“IGT”) for nearly six years, in the areas of employee services, employee relations, benefits administration, and HRIS management. In 2007, she graduated from St. Mary’s University School of Law, cum laude and was admitted to the State Bar of Nevada. She is a past-president for the Northern Nevada Human Resources Association and has been published in Northern Nevada Business Weekly’s annual HR and Employment Law publication. In addition, Ms. Felts has presented on various employment law topics throughout the State.
