Initially hired out of college by Protiviti as a financial analyst supporting Microsoft to perform a complex reconciliation, after only a few months having nearly automated his role, he was offered a role with another vendor to build a process for Microsoft’s recently launched brick and mortar stores to have their commercial/public sector customers apply for credit and be invoiced. Over the next few years, they absorbed the entirety of the sales support function and grew that revenue stream from $0 to >$300,000,000 with a team of more than 40 supporting it. He directly managed 12 of these colleagues supporting the invoicing, financial reconciliations, government purchasing contracts, as well as the inside sales function for commercial sales through Microsoft’s global online store.
His next role was with TriNet managing the relationship with their offshore Business Process Outsourcing, while he pursued his six sigma black belt certification with ASQ. From there he was given the opportunity to lead the company’s Robotic Process Automation (RPA) implementation. By year 3 this initiative was 7 figures in the green, putting it in the top 2% of all RPA implementations at that phase.
He was then promoted to lead the company’s business transformation team, a blend of process engineering, process analysis and business/process architecture, responsible for effectively translating the strategic vision into actionable work plans, goals & KPIs, measuring progress, lead business reviews and ensuring stakeholder alignment of the top strategic initiatives from the annual project portfolio. Having spent 8 years with TriNet, he’s now seeking a new set of challenges.
