This is a reminder that several updates to Nevada law will go into effect on October 1, 2025. These changes impact HR practices, and ensuring compliance by the effective date will be important for your organization.

To make it easy, we’ve uploaded summary of the updates we believe are most relevant. Consider this your “quick reference guide” to help you double-check policies, processes, and compliance before October 1 rolls around.

To view this document, please log in to the POOL/PACT HR’s website at www.poolpact.com.  Once you log in to the website: 

1.      Choose “Human Resources” under the Resource Library tab at the top of the page.

2.      To the left middle choose “Legislation Tracking.”

3.      Then choose “5. 2025” and scroll down to view this document entitled, “Nevada Legislation Effective 10-1-2025.”
