You may be familiar with Nevada SCATS (Safety Consultation and Training Section), and the helpful safety/compliance work it does for Nevada.

NV SCATS’ mission is to provide information and guidance on OSHA for Nevada employers. It is separate and distinct from the enforcement section of NV OSHA.

Many POOL/PACT members have been through the consultation process and found it to be very helpful, enlightening, and productive.

It provides several essential services:

• Compliance Evaluations
• Qualitative and Quantitative Exposure Assessments
• Program Development – Safety Programs/Committees • Indoor Air Quality Evaluations

These services are free and easy to schedule. We encourage you to contact SCATS office at NV SCATS

We would also appreciate being involved in this process as POOL/PACT may be able to assist with safety recommendations follow-up and may be able to provide financial assistance through the POOL/PACT Risk Management Grant process.
